Watershed Management Planning in the Stock Ditch/Heston Ditch Headwaters Watershed, Lakeville and surrounding areas, St. Joseph and Marshall counties, Indiana
The Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) has received a grant from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to develop a watershed management plan for the Stock Ditch-Heston Ditch Headwaters Watershed.
The Watershed is located in and around Lakeville, Indiana in the southern portion of St. Joseph County, and northern portion of Marshall County. It is part of the Kankakee River Basin and includes both Pleasant and Riddles Lakes.
MACOG will complete a number of tasks as part of the grant requirements. Those tasks include:
