The Friends of Cobus Creek and the Elkhart Conservation Club received a Lake And River Enhancement (LARE) grant from the Indiana DNR to complete a feasibility study for Cobus Creek. Representatives of Cardno in Walkerton, IN have completed a stream assessment and will be presenting their findings and recommendations at a public meeting with discussion to follow.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Elkhart Conservation Club cabin located at 55515 Riviera Drive in Elkhart, IN on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, from 6-8PM. Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, please contact the Elkhart Conservation Club at info@elkhartconservationclub.org.
